Do I need a partner?
No, partners are not required. However they are always very welcome.
Do I need to book?
Unless classes are specifically advertised in the newspaper, you will need to contact Supreme Dance one week before the class starts. The best way is to send an email to Supreme Dance.
What do I wear?
Normal comfortable clothes, but nothing to heavy as you will warm up. Shoes must stay on your feet, ie no jandals.

When can I join the beginners?
There are six terms of beginner classes throughout the year. Term 1, 3 and 5 are a fresh in take of beginners. Term 2, 4 and 6 will have the previous term's beginners still in the class, but new entrants are allowed as long as they have attended the workshop. However, if you have dancing experience then you may be able to join the beginners class at any time, but you must first discuss this with Supreme Dance. Do I have to do a workshop?
This depends on which term you are joining. Terms 1, 3 and 5 do not require a workshop. Terms 2, 4, and 6 require attendance of a workshop, as you are joining in on the previous class and you need the workshop to get you up to speed. See the Term Dates or Workshop for more details.
What are the classes like?
Every class is different, but the one thing the have in common is that they are fun. For example try the following YouTube videos:
How many people in the class?
This varies from 5 to 10 in Tawa and 10 to 20 in the City, depending on the time of year.
What are the age ranges?
The age ranges in Tawa have an average age of 35 and in the City it's 25.
If I have danced before, where do I fit in?
